Technologies, Inc. is now taking orders for the Hartwell
Canopy Latch System, item # 8A06, $278.00+s/h.
This is a unstocked item and Hartwell will only produce
the latching mechanism and custom pin on special order
with a minimum quantity. Because of this, it will in all
likelihood not be available when a builder wants
one. The complete latch kit is shown on page 58 of THE BD-5
SOURCE, 3rd. edition. The same canopy
latch system is used on the airshow Microjets and
features a double hook (like the safety latch on a car
hood) for positive latching. This is the most positive,
and proven system available for securing the BD-5 canopy
during flight.
A deposit of
$100.00 is required to confirm your order. Hartwell has about a
16 week delivery schedule once the order is placed. Please have
your order for this item to us prior to Dec. 4, 1998. Balance
payment on order due by Jan 30, 1999. Shipping wt. 5 lbs. Orders
