When a builder chooses to have his parts jigged, not only will he save countless hours in construction time, he is assured that all of the assembly is correct. Ask anybody who has used the A&D service. Also, talk to a builder who has trashed a horizontal stab while attempting to constuct it on his own. Or look at the fuselages of those who have not had theirs jig drilled. Once jig A&D is completed it is very difficult to assemble the aircraft incorrectly.
