POWERPLANT

TRS-18 TURBOJET  The US certified Microturbo TRS 18-1 is now available. This is the engine having proven itself for over 20 years in the airshow Microjets.   **Please note: The TRS 18 engine used in early microjets develops 200 lbs thrust, while the newer TRS 18-1 engine develops 325 lbs thrust.  While these engines are nearly identical in dimension & weight, microjets using the newer TRS 18-1 exhibit dramatically higher performance.   Contact BMT for engine pricing and availability.
